Instructions for Presenters
General information - Applies to both oral and poster presentations
The length of all oral presentations is restricted to 7 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions and answers. During your presentation, please keep a strict eye on the time.
Bring your ppt-presentation to the conference on a flash drive (USB) and deliver it to the Speaker’s Room (on ground floor) at your earliest convenience, but during the coffee/lunch break prior to your presentation at the very latest.
Go to your session auditorium at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session to meet the moderators and conference aid, and to familiarize yourself with the room and audio visual setup. Name of the moderators will be found in the final programme.
As an oral presenter you are expected to confirm your participation by registering and paying the registration fee at your earliest convenience, however by 30th June, 2018 at the latest. In case we haven’t received your registration fee by this date, your presentation will be removed from the programme.
Posters will be on display from Thursday until Friday. You should hang up your poster on Wednesday from 20.00 or latest on Thursday morning, by 7:30. Use pins that are available at the Conference venue. Please use poster material that is light enough and can be fastened with pins.
Poster session will be held on Thursday afternoon. All presenters are expected to give a 3 minute overview of their work and then be prepared for questions/answers.
Presenters are responsible for dismantling their posters at the end of the last poster session on Friday afternoon, by 17:30 at the latest. The Conference organizers will dispose of all posters that are not removed by the scheduled poster dismantling time.
Poster should be displayed in portrait, not landscape. It is the presenter’s responsibility to prepare a completely correct poster material ready for presentation, within the maximum frame of a poster board:
- Max size is A1 = 59,4 x 84,1 cm (w x h)
Prepare the content of your poster so that it is readable from a 1 meter distance. The content should be in English. Make sure you use the same title that you have used in your abstract.
